The Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE, has agreed to form a strategic alliance with the Nigerian Army Resource Centre on research and development solutions to tackle Nigeria’s security and allied challenges.

Festus Y.A Daudu has charged the management of National Information Technology Development Agency, (NITDA) to ensure that it keeps building the capacity of Nigerians in information and Communication Technology Sector.
The National Information and Technology Development Agency (NITDA) under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital economy and in collaboration with the Jigawa state government has commenced a ten-day empowerment programme for 140 farmers on smart Agriculture in Jigawa state.
The Financial Technology sector has continued to grow in Nigeria. For instance, between 2014 and 2019, Fintech raised more than $600 million in funding, attracting 25 percent ($122 million) of the $491.6million raised by African tech startups in 2019 alone, second to Kenya which attracted $149million.
